Electronic Recycling supports the Lisbon Treaty

Electronic Recycling is supporting a yes vote for the Lisbon Treaty. The EU has been extremely beneficial to Irish SMEs since 1973 and specifically since the introduction of the Single European Act in 1986/7 and The Maastricht Treaty of 1992/3, which created the single market across the EU. The Nice Treaty in 2000/1 continued the development of the four freedoms of movement, Goods, Capital, Services and People. The Lisbon Treaty is designed to make the operation of the EU more efficient, to enhance the democratic structures and make certain that decisions, which can be made at local level, are made at local level.
